what is qiyamul lail? | Top Quran Classes

qiyamul lail

Qiyamul lail is defined as spending the night or part of it in legitimate worship; such as prayer, remembrance, reading the Qur’an, hearing the hadith, praying to the Prophet, and so on from worship, and the night starts from sunset until sunrise the next day.

And it is not required that the slave do the whole night, and it is called to get up from sleep to pray as well, and this worship needs a great struggle that requires training to get up from sleep and patience for it, and asking Allah – the Almighty – for help.

The resurrection of the qiyam al layl is one of the great Nawafel in wages, rewards, and closeness to Allah (praise be upon him), were in the language everything that is in excess of the imposition and quorum is called Nafla, and it is also called the gift, increase, and volunteering.

While in the legal terminology the Nafilah is every legitimate volunteering in addition to the imposition, duty, and the elderly, and the legitimacy of volunteering in the Nafalah was mentioned in the Prophet’s Sunnah.

So about Rabia al-Aslami – may Allah be pleased with him – he said: (I was sleeping with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), and I came to him with his light and need, and he said to me: Sil, and I said: I ask you to accompany you in paradise.

qiyamul lail meaning

The qiyam prayer is: spending most or part of the night, even an hour worshiping Allah by praying, reciting the Qur’an, and reminding Allah. Doing is called and worship is intended in general, and night prayer in particular.

The qiyamul lail rakaat is the perseverance of the righteous, the trade of the believers, and the work of the winners, for at night the believers are devoid of their Lord, and they turn to their Creator and their righteousness, complaining to Him about their conditions.

And asking Him for His favor, for their souls are in the hands of their Creator, engaged in the monologues of their righteousness, breathing from those breaths, quoting from the lights of those offerings, and wishing and pleading for the great gifts and gifts.

The qiyam al lail in the Quran

The Almighty said: The south of them avoids the, they call their Lord out of fear and greed, and from what we have earned them they spend so that you do not know the same as what was hidden to them from the eyes of retribution for what they were doing (Surat al-Sajdah).

Ibn Kathir said in his commentary: “By this means the qiyam al lail, leaving sleep and lying on the slow mattresses. Mujahid and al-Hasan said in their saying: “You shall be spared south of them” which means the resurrection of the night.”

Al-Qurtubi said: “That is, you rise and foreshadow the places of compulsion. It is in a position erected on the spot; that is, hidden south of them. are a collection of beds; they are sleeping places. It is possible at the time of compulsion.

But it is metaphorical, and the truth is first. From it, Abdullah ibn Rawaha said: “In us, the Messenger of Allah will recite his book if there is a known defection from the bright morning … He sleeps and falls asleep from his side from his bed if you are burdened by the polytheists.”

‘Abd al-Haq al-Ashbili said, “That is, the south of them is sprinkled from the mattresses, so do not settle on them, and do not stick to them for the fear of the promise and the hope of the promised.”

Allah the Almighty has mentioned the agitators and said of them: They were a little bit of the night what they were abandoning and by the magic, they were forgiving (Surah al-Dhariyat).

Al-Qurtubi said: “His Almighty saying: They were a little bit of the night what they were abandoning meaning they were abandoning the meaning of abandoning sleeping, and abandoning sleep at night, and rejoicing in light sleep; Abu Qais ibn al-Aslet said: “The egg has fortified my head … What fed a sleep is not a sigh.”

The Almighty said: “Um whoever is the one who has been in the night is prostrate and standing, warning the afterlife and begging for the mercy of his Lord, say whether he equals those who know and those who do not know, but remembers the Ulu of the hearts.” (Surah al-Zumar, verse 9).

That is, does he equate this attribute with the one who slept at night who is not aware of the promise of his Lord or of his promise, it was said: “O men of the night, find … A calling Lord does not respond.”

Qiyam al lail in the sunnah?

The Prophet urged and desired the qiyamul lail time, and he said, “By the resurrection of the night, the righteous have always been before you, close to Allah, atonement for evils, forbidding sin, and steady sickness from the flesh.” The Prophet said of Abdullah ibn Umar: “Yes, the man is Abdullah if he prays from the night.”

Salem ibn Abdullah ibn ‘Umar said: ‘Abdallah then slept little at night. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “In Paradise, there is a room whose appearance is seen from the inside, and the interior from the outside” and said: “To whom, O Messenger of Allah?” He said, “It is good to speak, to feed food, to stand up, and for people to sleep.”

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Jibril came to me and said, ‘O Muhammad, live whatever you want, you are dead, and love whoever you want, you are his paradox, and do whatever you want, you are rewarded by him, and know that the honor of the believer is to do the night, and to cherish him by dispensing with people.'”

The Prophet (PBUH) said: “Whoever has done ten verses has not been written by the unaware, and whoever has done a hundred verses has written from the two canteens, and whoever has done a thousand verses has written from the archers”, and the archers are the ones who have a quintal of wages. “I prefer to pray after the obligatory night prayer,” he said.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “O people, spread peace, feed food, pray and people sleep, enter paradise peacefully.”

Qiyam al layl according to the prophet

Allah commanded His Prophet to rise up at night in his saying: O Muzamil, rise up the night except for a little half of it, decrease it slightly, or increase it and recite the Qur’an Tartila (Surat al-Muzamil, verses 1-4).

Subhanah said, “And from the night you will rejoice in Him, and you will be blessed with Him, may your Lord send you a praiseworthy shrine, Surat al-Israa, verse 79.”

Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: “The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was rising from the night until his feet were broken, and I said to him, ‘Why did you do this, O Messenger of Allah, and he forgave you for the foregoing of your sin and what was delayed?’

The prayer of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) settled at the end of the night, may Allah be pleased with her, saying: “From all night the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) has been strained from the first, middle and last of the night, and his tendon has ended in magic.”

This shows that thanksgiving is not only by the tongue, but also by the heart, tongue, and wounds, as the Prophet has rightly done slavery to Allah in its fullest face and image, with the spread of the Islamic faith, the education of Muslims, jihad for the sake of Allah, and the fulfillment of the rights of parents and descendants.

Concerning Huzaifa, he said: “I prayed behind the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) one night and he opened the cow and I said: He kneels at the hundredth, and then he went on, and I said: Pray with it in a kneel and he went on, and I said: He kneels with it, and then he opens the women and he reads it.

Then the family of Imran opened and read it and read, sending if he passed through a verse in which he praises the praise of the Lord, and if he passes by a question he asks, and if he passes by a talisman and then he kneels, and he makes him say Subhan, my great Lord.

So his kneeling was towards his resurrection, and then he said he heard Allah to whom he praised, and then he rose long near what he knelt down and then prostrated and said Subhan my Lord the Supreme, and his prostration was close to his resurrection.”

Concerning Ibn Mas’ud, may Allah be pleased with him, he said: “I prayed with the Prophet for the night, and he was still standing until I was concerned about something bad. It was said: What did you care about? He said, ‘I wanted to sit down and let him!'”

Ibn Hajar said, “In the hadith, there is evidence that the Prophet chose to prolong the night prayer, and Ibn Mas’ud was strong and maintained the example of the Prophet, and they are not in the Qa’ud until after a long time that he is used to.”

Imam al-Nawawi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: “Its meaning was the last thing that was ordered by the itar in magic, and it is meant at the end of the night as she said in other accounts, because it is desirable for the itar at the end of the night, and the correct hadiths have pretended to be on it.”

qiyamul lail prayer time

The time for the qiyamul lail begins after the end of the evening prayer until the break of the second dawn, and it is preferable that it be in the last third of the night, as it came in the authentic hadith when the Prophet, peace, and blessings be upon him.

Said: “The most beloved prayer to Allah is the prayer of David, peace be upon him, and the most beloved fasting to Allah is the fasting of David And he used to sleep half the night, get up for one-third of it, sleep one-sixth, and fast one day and not fast one day.”

This means that he used to pray the fourth and fifth sixth, and if he gets up in the last third because of the great merit in that; Because Allah Almighty descends to the lowest heaven in this part of the night, but it is permitted at the beginning, middle and end of the night as well.

And he greeted him praying at night but we saw him, and we did not want to see him sleeping except that we saw him.”

how many rakat qiyamul lail?

The qiyam al layl is important to worship, and a confirmed Sunnah about the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), especially in the month of Ramadan the most.

The qiyam prayer has a great significance in consolidating faith, helping Galilee with works, forgiving sins, and drawing closer to Allah the Almighty.

Allah the Almighty said: “O Muzamil, rise up at night except for a little half of it, or decrease it a little, or increase it, and the Qur’anic recitation of Tartila, we will throw a heavy saying at you that the dawn of the night is more and more intense, and I will rise up saying” (Surat al-Muzamil: 1-6).

He reads in the prayer of the qiyamul lail rakaat to seize and the Almighty also said: “But he believes in our verses who, if they are reminded of them, prostrate themselves and praise the praise of their Lord, and they do not take pride in their south.

And their south avoids the fucking, they call their Lord out of fear and greed, and from what we have earned them they spend so that you do not know the same as what was hidden to them from the eyes of retribution for what they were doing” (Surat al-Sajdah: 15-17).

The qiyamul lail time is considered one of the greatest obedience of Allah Almighty, and it is also one of the secrets of tranquility and satisfaction in the heart of the believer, as it draws light on the face of the believer.

Since Allah the Almighty descends every night in the last third of the night to the lower heavens and says: “Is there any need to respond to him, is there any liquid and I give him, is there any forgiveness and forgive him, until dawn comes?”

The prayer of the qiyamul lail does not have a special number of Rakat; for the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The night prayer is Muthanna Muthanna, and if you see that the morning perceives you, then I will be reminded of one, and Ibn ‘Umar will be told: What is Muthanna Muthanna? He said, ‘You should be delivered in every two knees.'”

As for the number of rak’ahs of the qiyam al layl, it is better to limit it to eleven rak’ahs; or thirteen rak’ahs, and this is the act of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), for Aisha.

(may Allah be pleased with her) said: “The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) prayed between the completion of the evening prayer until dawn eleven rak’ahs delivered between every two rak’ahs and strained with one.”

how to perform qiyamul lail?

The prayer of the qiyamul lail is performed in two rak’ahs; for Abdullah ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) said that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The night prayer is Muthanna Muthanna, and if you see that the morning perceives you, then I will be tempted by one.

It is advisable for the Muslim to seal the qiyam al layl by performing the chord, because the Prophet (PBUH) said: “Make your last prayer at night a chord”, and the delivery is between every two rak’ahs in the prayer of qiyam prayer, that is, the prayer is not in the form of the noon or afternoon prayers, following the example of the Prophet (PBUH).

It is worth mentioning that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to prolong the prostration in the prayer of the qiyamul lail rakaat, as the Mother of the Believers Aisha (may Allah be pleased with him) recounted about her: “

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) prayed eleven rak’ahs, and these were his prayers – meaning by night – and he prostrated the prostration from that as much as one of you reads fifty verses before raising his head.”

It is pointed out the importance of taking care not to inflict hardship on the worshippers if the night is in a group, but rather the prolongation in the prayer of the solitary who is able to prolong it, and the Muslim can pray whatever he wants from the kneels in his resurrection.

And at any time of the night, and the time of the qiyamul lail time begins after the performance of the evening prayer, and continues to the call to prayer of dawn, so he realizes the resurrection at any time between dinner and dawn

There is no legal text specifying a specific number of rak’ahs for the qiyamul lail, but the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) prayed eleven or thirteen rak’ahs; for the Mother of the Believers Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, said: “.

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) prayed between to finish the evening prayer, which is the one that calls the dark people, to the dawn, eleven rak’ahs, delivered between each of the two rak’ahs.

And strained by one, if the muezzin is silent from the dawn prayer, and it turns out to him At dawn, the muezzin came to him, he knelt down two light knees, and then lay on his right slit until the muezzin came to him to stay.)

Ibn ‘Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) also narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was staying at night thirteen rak’ahs, saying: “The prayer of the Messenger of Allah.

(peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was completed from the night by thirteen rak’ahs, and then he lay down and slept until he was blown up, and if he slept he was blown up, and Bilal came to him and gave him permission to pray, and he rose up and separated me.”

It should be noted that the lowest number of rak’ahs for the qiyam al layl is two rak’ahs, while most of his rak’ahs are not mentioned in a text from the Prophet’s Sunnah indicating that the Prophet (PBUH) specified the number of rak’ahs of the prayer of the resurrection.

how to pray qiyamul lail?

The best in the qiyam prayer is to be a Muthanna, as it was reported from the Messenger of Allah, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him: It is preferable for the believer to end the night prayer with Witr, as the Prophet, peace, and blessings be upon him.

Said: “Make your last prayers at night an odd number.” There must be a tasleem between every two rak’ahs of prayer, and it is not like the Zuhr or Asr prayer, as the Messenger, may Allah prayers and peace be upon him, did.

The Messenger, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him, used to prostrate long during the night prayers, so his approach must be followed in order to obtain his love and forgiveness.

If the prayer is in the congregation, care must be taken not to cause hardship to the worshipers, as the lengthening is in the single prayer.

what to recite in qiyamul lail?

The qiyamul lail rakaat is the worship enacted by Allah the Almighty and blessed to his servants, and Jal and Ula said: “Rise up the night only a little”, and it was said of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him): “The closest thing a slave is to his Lord the Almighty and he is prostrate, so increase the prayer.”

He enters his time from the time of the completion of the evening prayer and continues until dawn, but the best time for this prayer is the last third of the night because Allah the Almighty descends to the lower heaven as already mentioned.

And the Muslim prays whatever he wants from the rak’at Muthanna Muthanna, and if the Muslim prays eleven rak’ahs with the string it is better, Abu Hurayrah is reported to have said about the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

He said: “Allah descends into the lower heavens every night when he spends the first third of the night and says, I am the king, I am the king, who is the one who calls me, and I respond to him who asks me, and I give him who forgives me, and I forgive him, and he remains so until the dawn shines.”

Om almoumani, Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), is reported to have said, in what Abdullah ibn Abi Qais narrated: “Do not let the night rise, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

Would not let him, and if he fell ill, or was lazy, he prayed as a rule”, and about the seal of the prophets and missionaries that he said in what Bukhari reported about Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As (may Allah be pleased with them).

He said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to me: “O Abdullah, do not be like the one who was rising at night, so he left the night to rise.”

Among the prayers answered at night are the following:

1-  “O Allah, swear to us from your fear of what you have turned us from your disobedience, from your obedience to what your paradise informs us, from the certainty of what the misfortunes of the world are trivializing on us, and from our enjoyment of our hearing, our sights, our strength, what you have revived.

Make him the heir of us, take our revenge on those who have wronged us, and do not make our misfortune in our religion, with your mercy your presence, O most gracious of the most gracious.”

2- It is mentioned in the Hadith about the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), where he urged us to do four things when praying that make Allah the Almighty respond to him.

Turning into the best-answered dua at the same moment, and the first of these four things is the beginning of the dua by glorifying Allah the Almighty.

The second is to praise Him Almighty and Allah, the third is to pray to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), and the fourth is to pray in need of him.

3- It is stated in the Sunan of Abu David, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) heard a man calling in his prayers who did not glorify Allah the Almighty, and did not reach the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

And the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Hurry up this”, and then he called him and said to him: – or to others – “If one of you prays.

Let him begin by glorifying his Lord Almighty and Almighty, praising him, and then praying to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), Then he calls after what he wants.”

4- About Abdullah ibn Abbas, that a messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was if he rose to prayer from the dead of night he said: “Oh Allah be to you, praise be to you, you are the light of the heavens and the earth.

And to you praise be to you, you are the Lord of the heavens and the earth, and to you praise be to you, you are the Lord of the heavens and the earth, and among them, you are the truth.

And you say the truth, your promise is the truth, your meeting is right, the paradise is right, the fire is right, the hour is right, Allah is yours, you have been Islamized, and you have believed, and you have entrusted you.

And you have sprung up, and you have been adversarial, and to you, I have been judged, so forgive me what I have given and delayed. And I was pleased and proclaimed that you are my Allah, there is no Allah but You.

5- Dua Dhu al-Nun told the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) about the virtue of these nine words in revealing Allah blessed and exalted by them from anguish and removes the concern and responds to the dua’a, saying: “.

The call of Dhu al-Nun when he called while he was in the belly of the whale there is no god except you praise you, I was one of the oppressors, he never called a Muslim in anything except that Allah responded to him with it.”

6- The prayer of asking for a livelihood was answered by the Prophet of Allah Solomon (peace be upon him): “The Lord said forgive me and give me a king that no one after me should have, that you are the Wahhab.”

7- The Prophet of Allah prayed Lot to save from his people who do vices: “The Lord of my salvation and my people from what they do.”

8- Regarding the request of the good boy among the Qur’an, the Prophet of Allah called Zechariah, saying: “There Zechariah called his Lord, and the Lord gave me from your hand’s good offspring, that you will hear the dua’a, the angels called him while he was standing and praying in the mihrab that Allah was preaching.

9- The Mother of the Faithful, Sayyida Um Salama, may Allah be pleased with her, said: “I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say.

“No Muslim is afflicted by a calamity and he says what Allah has commanded: We are to Allah and to Him we return to Allah, Allah has dragged me into my misfortune and left me a good one except that Allah will leave him a good one,” narrated by a Muslim.

10- The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Do not call yourselves except fine; the angels believe in what you say.”

11-  “Oh Allah, I ask you and I address you to your son Muhammad, the prophet of mercy, O Muhammad, I am addressing you to your Lord and you will satisfy my need.”

12- Oh Allah, we ask you for kindness in what you have spent, for help for what you have spent, and we forgive you for saying that hinders remorse or an act by which the foot is removed.

You are the trust of those who entrust you to you, and the infallibility of those who have delegated their command to you {and I delegate my command to Allah that Allah is seen by the servants}.

13- Oh Allah, we ask you for your fear in the unseen and witness, we ask you the word of truth in satisfaction and anger, we ask you for inexhaustible bliss, we ask you for satisfaction after the judgment, we ask you for the pleasure of looking at your face and longing to meet you in harmless harmlessness and no misguided strife.

what to do during qiyamul lail?

That the Muslim intends when he sleeps to qiyamul lail, if his eyes overwhelm him and he does not rise, Allah wrote to him what he intended, and his sleep was a charity to him from his Lord.

By his sleep, he intends to be godly to obey Allah, so that he may be rewarded in all his circumstances, in sleep and wakefulness.

About ‘Umar ibn al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, he said: I heard a messenger say: “But actions are by intentions, but for every person what he intended, whoever migrated to a world that hurts her or to a woman who repudiates her, she migrates him to what he migrated to.”

Concerning Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, a messenger said: “No one who has a prayer at night is overwhelmed by sleep except that he writes to him the wages of his prayers and his sleep is on him as charity.” It was directed by Abu Dawood and al-Nisa’i.

To sleep in purity on his right side, and to call for the adhkars received when sleeping.

Concerning al-Baraa ibn ‘Azib (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “If you come to your bedside, then you will be blessed with your light to pray, and then lie on your right side.

And then say: O Allah, I have surrendered my face to you, and I have delegated my command to you, and I have turned my back to you, out of desire and awe for you, there is no refuge and no escape from you except for you.

Allah I have believed in your book that has been brought down, and in your son who has been sent. If you die from your night, you are instinctive, and make them the last thing you speak.” Agreed.

If he wakes up and rises to rejoice, he wipes the sleep off his face, mentions Allah, sits, and toads, and opens his tag with two light blessings.

Abdullah ibn ‘Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) said that he lay down at a messenger and woke up, and he woke up and tawded as he said: “In the creation of the heavens and the earth and the difference of night and day there are verses for the first of the hearts.”.

He read these verses until the surah was sealed, and then he separated two rak’ahs, prolonging them to rise, kneel and prostrate themselves. Directed by a Muslim.

Concerning Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him about the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), he said: “If one of you rises from the night, let him open his prayers with two light knees.” Directed by a Muslim.

It is desirable that his exhortation is in his home, because it is better, hidden, and closer to faithfulness, Muthanna prays Muthanna, delivers from every two rak’ahs, and sometimes delivers from every four rak’ahs.

Zayd ibn Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Pray for people, in your homes, the best prayer is one’s prayer in one’s own home except that which is written.”.

And about Ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man asked a messenger about night prayers? A messenger said, “The night prayer is Muthanna Muthanna, and if one of you is afraid of the morning, pray one rak’ah, tension for him what he has prayed.”.

It is advisable for a Muslim to have known kneels to perpetuate.

If he activates its length, if it is not active, it is diluted, and if it misses it he spends it intercessory.

It is advisable for a Muslim if he rises to worship to wake up his family for night prayers, especially when a verse speaks, and sometimes prays with them.

Allah the Almighty said: “And He commanded your parents to pray and be patient with it, we do not ask you for a living, we are your livelihood and the consequence of piety.

Concerning Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, she said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to pray his prayers from the whole night, and I objected between him and the qibla, so if he wanted to be nervous, he woke me up.

Um Salama, may Allah be pleased with her, said: “The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) woke up one night and said: “Hallelujah, what did I bring down tonight from the fitn, what was opened from the vaults, they woke up the stone companions, and he fled a cassette in the world naked in the afterlife.”.

Concerning Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, he said: “May Allah have mercy on a man who rose from the night and separated me and woke up his wife if Abt exuded water in her face, may Allah have mercy on a woman who rose from the night and separated and woke up her husband, if my father exuded water in his face.” It was directed by Abu Dawood and al-Nisa’i.

It is permissible for a Muslim to read in his tajjad what is available from the Qur’an in one or more parts, or less while contemplating what he reads.

The one who rejoices at night has a choice between speaking out about reading and secreting it.

But if speaking out about reading is more active for him, or if there is someone in His presence who listens to reading it or benefits from it, then speaking out is better.

If there is someone close to him who is agitated, or who is harmed by raising his voice from a sleeper, a sick person, and so on, he will be pleased, lest he confuses others.

If neither this nor this is the case, let him do what is best for his heart, what is most active for him, and what is easier for him.

About Abdullah ibn Mas’ud (may Allaah be pleased with him) he said: I prayed with a messenger and he prolonged until I was concerned about something bad, and he said: What did you care about? He said, “I wanted to sit down and let him.

It is permissible to volunteer collectively sometimes at night or day, without taking a year of salary.

About Ibn ‘Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) he said: ‘Abbas sent me to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), while he was in the house of my aunt Maimunah, and I slept with him that night.

And he prayed from the night, and I rose from his left, and he took me from behind his back, and he made me on his right. Agreed.

Concerning Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) entered upon us, and it is only me, my mother, and the mother of my aunt’s haram, and he said, “Arise, let me pray with you.”

He said: He made him to his right, and then he called us, the people of the house, with all the good of the world and the afterlife. Directed by a Muslim.

The prayer of the night is better than its prayer as a rule without excuse, if the fall is for an excuse, then pay it as the wage of the Risen One.

About ‘Imran ibn Husayn, may Allah be pleased with him, who was a prisoner, he said: I asked a messenger about the man’s prayer as a rule, and he said: “If he prays to stand.

He is better, and whoever prays as a base has half the wage of the al-Qaim, and whoever prays asleep has half the wage of the base.” Take it out of the steamer.

Concerning Abu Musa, may Allah be pleased with him, he said: A messenger said: “If a slave falls ill, or travels, he writes to him like he was working as a true resident.” Take it out of the steamer.

The best night prayer is the length of doing with frequent kneeling and prostration.

It is better for a Muslim to pray what he can so that he does not get bored if he relaxes himself to prolong the lengthening.

And if he relaxes himself to relieve himself, he does what is in him the most fearful for him, the most suitable for his heart, and what he finds in him the pleasure of worship, and the more he prostrates the better. Allah Almighty said: {Aman is the vessel of Allah}

is qiyamul lail sunnah or nafl?

The qiyamul lail is a definite prayer to which the Qur’an was lamented and praised by its owners, and urged by the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), the least of which is the kneeling of the string on the correct of the sayings of the people of science.

Because it is stated in the two truths about the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) that he said: “The night prayer is Muthanna Muthanna, and if the morning is lightened.

Then I will be blessed with one” and in the Sunan, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: The string is right, whoever wills Uttar is seven, whoever wills Uttar is five, whoever wants Uttar is three, and whoever wants Uttar with one.

In Sahih al-Bukhari, Ibn ‘Abbas was told: Do you have in the Commander of the Faithful Mu’awiya, that he only has one? He said, “I was right that he was a jurist.

As for the most important of its rak’ahs: the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) is that he did not exceed eleven rak’ahs, as in the true account of Aisha, and it was proved by the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

That he prayed after the chord two rak’ahs, the first is to maintain this number, whoever wants to increase it is fine, and this is evidenced by two pieces of evidence:

The first: The general saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him): “The night prayer is Muthanna Muthanna” and did not limit it to a number.

Second: The work of the companions, the companions prayed twenty rak’ahs behind Abu ibn Ka’ab in the caliphate of ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with them all), narrated in al-Maqtaa and others.

As for the best time for qiyam al layl, it is the last third of the night to correspond to the divine descent, as the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Our Lord, blessed and exalted.

Descends every night to the lower heavens when the other third of the night remains, and he says: Who calls me and I respond to him? And who asks me and I give it? And who forgives me and I forgives him?” narrated by Bukhari and Muslim.

This is the best time for those who know from themselves that they will rise from the end of the night, and for those who are afraid not to wake up, it is better to pray and strain before they sleep, as was true of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

qiyamul lail dua

Oh, Allah, I bid you farewell to my family, O one to whom deposits are not lost, so protect them and heal them from every scourge, from ill health and disease, from the evil of the Tuareg day and night, from the evil of the eye of every envious, from the envy of every hater, from the friends of evil.”

“O Allah, swear to us from your fear what prevents us from your sins, and from your obedience to what your paradise informs us, O Allah grant us pleasure in our hearing, our sight, and our strength what has revived us.

And do not make the world our greatest concern nor the sum of our knowledge, nor do you cast upon us those who do not have mercy on us, you are a responsive header.”

“O Allah, heal them in their bodies, their hearing, their sights, their souls, and their wounds, and make them those who are relieved of the scourge with your mercy, those who are infallible from sins, slippage, and error by your piety.

And those who are successful for good and rationality by obeying you, O Allah make us one of those who have entrusted you with his sufficiency, and he has guided you to his gift.

And he has forgiven you and you have forgiven him, and he has triumphed over you and his victory, and he has called you and I answered him.”

“O Lord, we ask you in your great and greatest name, by which if you are called you answer, and if you are asked by Him you give, in all your good names, what we have learned from them and what we have not taught.

That you respond to our calls, fulfill our desires, satisfy our needs, release our anguish, forgive our sins, cover up our imperfections, repent of us, heal us, pardon us, and reform our families and descendants.

And have mercy on us with your vast mercy, mercy with which you will enrich us from the mercy of those who are not you.”

“Oh Allah, we ask you to wipe away our pains, to illuminate the darkness of our nights, Allah shed us with joy, and bind us from all the entrances to goodness, O Allah, O strong from the weak other than you.

O Allah, O rich from the poor other than you, O Allah, O dear one from the humiliation other than you, O Allah, enrich us with your halal from your haram and enrich our thanks to you from those who are not you.”

Oh, Allah, we ask you to wipe away our pains, to enlighten the darkness of our nights, Allah shed us with joy, and to bind us from all the entrances to goodness, O Allah, O strong from the weak other than you.

O Allah, O rich from the poor other than you, O Allah, O dear one from the humiliator other than you, O Allah, enrich us with your halal from your haram and enrich our thanks to you from those other than you.”

“Oh Allah, whoever was sick from my family and loved ones healed him, and whoever was worried and removed his worries, and who was sad and made him happy, and who hoped for your success and succeeded him.

Allah increases us and does not decrease us, honors us and does not degrade us, gives us and does not deprive us, chooses us and does not affect us, and our land and land about us. May Allah reduce our missteps, forgive our misdeeds, atone for our misdeeds, and die with the righteous, dear O forgiving.”

“Oh Allah, we have revived Muslims, and we have joined the righteous, neither shameful nor fascinated, O Allah, I will come back to you from the disobedience of children, from the estrangement of relatives.

O Allah, make our calls not answered, grant us a livelihood that does not count, and open for us a door to heaven that will not be blocked, O Allah, enrich us with your halal from your haram, and make us winners.”

“O Allah, open to my sons and daughters the conquest of the knowers, teach them what they have not known, remind them of what they have forgotten, and open to them from the blessings of heaven and earth that you are a responsive header.

O Allah, O teacher of Moses, peace be upon him, teach them, and O understanding of Solomon, peace be upon him, understand them, and O Muati Luqman of wisdom and the separation of discourse come to them wisdom and separate the discourse.”

«اللهم افتح على أبنائي وبناتي فتوح العارفين، وعلمهم ما جهلوا، وذكرهم ما نسوا، وافتح عليهم من بركات السماء والارض إنّك سميعٌ مُجيبٌ، اللهم يا معلّم موسى -عليه السلام- علّمهم، ويا مفهّم سليمان -عليه السلام- فهّمهم، ويا مؤتي لقمان الحكمة وفصل الخطاب آتيهم الحكمة وفصل الخطاب».

“O Allah, teach my sons and daughters what they have been ignorant of, remind them of what they have forgotten, and open to them from the blessings of heaven and earth that you will hear the supplication.

O Allah I ask you the power of memorization, the speed of understanding, the clarity of mind, Allah make them converts.”

 «اللهم علم أبنائى وبناتى ما جهلوا، وذكّرهم ما نسوا، وافتح عليهم من بركات السماء والأرض إنّك سميع الدعاء، اللهم إنّي أسالك لهم قوة الحفظ، وسُرعة الفهم، وصفاء الذهن، اللهم اجعلهم هُداةً مهتدين».

“O Allah, make them the luckiest of your servants in this world and the hereafter and make them of your guardians and your own who seek their light in their hands and their faith, and there is no fear for them and they do not grieve.

Allah makes them keepers of your book, preachers and mujahedeen in your path, and informants of your Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

«اللهم اجعلهم أوفر عبادك حظًا في الدنيا والآخرة، واجعلهم من أوليائك وخاصّتك الذين يسعى نورهم بين أيديهم وإيمانهم، ولا خوف عليهم ولا هم يحزنون، اللهم اجعلهم حفظةً لكتابك، ودعاةً ومجاهدين في سبيلك، ومبلّغين عن رسولك محمدٍ – صلّى الله عليه وسلّم-

May Allah forgive their sins, purify their hearts, fortify their frogs, improve their morals, fill their hearts with light and wisdom, and their parents to accept every grace, O Allah, make them remembered and mentioned, and hang their hearts in obedience to you, and make them the faces of those who turn to you and love you.”

“O Allah, open to them the conquest of the knowing, bind them to wisdom and useful science, adorn their morals with dreams, honor them with piety, and beautify them with wellness.”

«اللهم افتح عليهم فتوح العارفين، وارزقهم الحكمة والعلم النافع، وزيّن أخلاقهم بالحلم، وأكرمهم بالتقوى، وجمّلهم بالعافية».

“O Allah, grant them a good teacher, good company, give them contentment and contentment, keep their hearts away from attachment to those without you, and make them those whom you love and who love you.”

«اللهم ارزقهم المعلّم الصالح، والصُحبة الطيبة، وارزقهم القناعة والرضا، ونزّه قلوبهم عن التعلّق بمن دُونك، واجعلهم ممّن تحبّهم ويحبّونك».

“O Allah, grant them your love and the love of every work that brings them closer to your love, O Allah, make them one of those who humbled you and you raised him, and he rested in your prestige and you loved him, and he approached you with his offering, and he asked you and you answered him.”

«اللهم ارزقهم حُبّك وحب كل عملٍ يقرّبهم إلى حُبّك، اللهم اجعلهم ممّن تواضع لك فرفعته، واستكان لهيبتك فأحببته، وتقرّب إليك فقرّبته، وسألك فأجبته».

“O Allah, stop them by your halal from your haram, and enrich them thanks to you from those who are not you, Allah spares them the companions of evil, adultery, and wine, and deliver them from ills, epidemics, and pests, Allah grants me the best condition in their lives.

And give me well-being from you in their time, and give me a good education for their little one, and strengthen me their weakness, and I have grown them a good plant, O majesty and honor.

O Allah, deliver them from the evil of the wicked in the vessels of the night and the ends of the day, and dedicate them to what you love from them, and forgive them, O forgiveness.”

“O Allah, heal them in their bodies, both outwardly and inwardly, and protect them from all ill and hated things, and heal them in themselves, their religion, their worldliness, and their morals, and provide them with a decent living and a living in a house.

O Allah, spare them the obscenities of what has emerged from them and what is in their belly, O Allah from me by the survival of my children, by their reform of me, by my enjoyment of them, and by extending their lives with health and well-being in obedience to You and Your satisfaction.”

“O Lord, make them lovers of me, and upon me are upright, obedient, disobedient, unhindered, and sinners. O Allah, lift from them the scourge and vengeance and grant them good conclusion and death on the truth of Islam and you are satisfied with them, O most merciful of the merciful.

Oh Allah, may their souls come to be godly, and their zakah you are better than their zakah, O Allah, make them righteous, pious and insightful, and obedient, and to your loving parents, and to your enemies hateful.

O Allah, I tighten my arms with them, and I raise up Audi, and many of my numbers, and adorn my presence, and I salute my memory, and I am satisfied with them in my absence, and I mean in my need.”

O Allah, spare my children and my descendants the obscenities that have appeared from them and the belly, and make them thankful for your blessings, and complete them upon them, O most merciful of the merciful.

O Allah blow up the springs of wisdom from their hearts, and reward them on their tongues, Allah grants them all that is good for them in the world and the hereafter, what I have mentioned and what you have forgotten.

Or shown, hidden, proclaimed, or secreted, Allah makes them enlarged in the halal livelihood, the destitute from humiliation except for you, the neighbors of injustice with your justice, and those who are relieved of the scourge with your mercy.”

“Oh Allah, I ask you in your good names, O living O Qayyum, to bless me in my children and descendants, not to harm them, to help them to obey you, and to bless me with their righteousness.

Allah grants them to the children of Muslims as I asked you to my children, O O Majesty and Honor, O Allah, make the Great Quran the spring of their hearts, healing their chests, a light for their sights, Allah rejoice in them your chosen Prophet, dedicate them to what you love and please.

And make them humble to you, praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and prayer and peace be upon the most honorable missionaries, our Prophet Muhammad, the faithful Prophet, and on all his family and companions.”.

the benefit of qiyamul lail

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to pray qiyamul lail until his feet cracked, and this is only evidence of the Prophet’s keenness on this worship.

And the Prophet’s interest in worshipping what is evidence of the greatness of its command and the elevation of its status, and he (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

Considered this a form of thanksgiving to Allah (may Allah be upon him), for the hadith of Mughira ibn Dawa (may Allah be pleased with him) He said: “The Prophet.

(peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) rose until his feet were swollen, and he was told: Allah forgave you for the foregoing sins and delays, and said, “Shall I not be a shakura slave?”

And among the benefits of qiyam al lail are the following:

1- This worship is one of the reasons for entering Paradise, and the high degree in it, and the Qawamoon deserved the mercy of Allah (Almighty) for the night, and His praise for them (praise be upon Him), and He said in the Holy Qur’an: “Those who sleep for their Lord prostrate and rise.”

2- Allah testified to His faithful servants that the night arose in full faith, saying, “But He believes in our verses who, if they are reminded of them, prostrate themselves and praise the praise of their Lord.

And they do not take pride in their south, and their south avoids the fucking, they call their Lord out of fear and greed, and from what we have earned them we have spent.”

3- Allah raised their status above other people, and He said, Almighty: “Aman is the one who has been able to prostrate himself at night and stand up and warn the afterlife and beg the mercy of his Lord, say whether he equals those who know and those who do not know, but he remembers the first of the hearts.”

4- The qiyam al layl caused the forgiveness of sins and the atonement of evils, which is the best prayer of the slave after the obligation, for the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), said: “The best prayer after the written prayer, prayer in the dead of night.”

5- The qiyam prayer is also one of the worships for which the believer deserves to have rejoiced, in which the believer combines the goodness of the world and the afterlife.

And in which the Risen One combines prayer and resurrection in the hands of Allah with the frequent reading of the Qur’an, and in which the believer is excluded from the unaware, and writes in the Qanatin.

And the resurrection of the night is a reason to help the Muslims to carry out the affairs of calling and commissioning.

6- The qiyamul lail rakaat makes you righteous:

The Almighty said: ﴿ They are not either of the People of the Book an existing nation who recite the verses of Allah at night and they prostrate themselves.

They believe in Allah and the last day and order the good and put an end to vice and hasten in the good and those who are righteous * and what they do of good they will not atone for it and Allah is aware of the pious.

7- The qiyamul lail time makes you one of the servants of the Rahman: The Almighty said: ﴿ And the servants of the Rahman who walk on the earth are huna and if the ignorant address them they say peace * and those who sleep for their Lord prostrate and rise.

And those who say our Lord distract us from the torment of hell that her torment was a fine * She worsened stable and resurrected * And who if they spent did not waste and did not borrow and there was strength among them.

And those who do not call with Allah another Allah and do not kill The soul that Allah has forbidden except by truth and does not commit adultery, and whoever does so throws away sins * multiplies his torment on the day of judgment and immortalizes in him a humiliation.

Except for those who repent, believe, and do good deeds, those who Allah replaces their bad deeds with good deeds and Allah is merciful forgiveness * and whoever repents and does good deeds repents to Allah Mutaba* and those who do not bear witness to falsehood and if they pass through the tongue pass through dignity* and who.

If they recall the verses of their Lord, do not deafen and blind them * and who say our Lord gave us from our husbands and offspring the horn of eyes and made us to the pious Imam * Those who pass the room with what they have patience and greet and peace ﴾ [Al-Furqan: 63-75].

8- Hidden wage for those who rise at night: The Almighty said: ﴿ The south of them shy away from they call their Lord out of fear and greed and from what we have earned them they spend * Do not know the same as what was hidden to them from the eyes of a penalty for what they were doing ﴾ [Al-Sajdah: 16, 17].

The Almighty said: ﴿ The pious in paradises and eyes * taking what their Lord has brought them that before that they were benefactors * They were a little bit of the night what they rejoice * and by magic they forgive.

9- The qiyamul lail time lifts you up to the point of thankfulness In the two truths about Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, the Prophet of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was rising from the night until his feet were broken, and Aisha said:

Why did you do this, O Messenger of Allah, and Allah has forgiven you for the foregoing of your sin, and what has been delayed? He said, “Would I not like to be a shakura slave, because there was so much flesh that he prayed and sat down, and if he wanted to kneel, he got up, he read and then he knelt.”

10- The qiyamul lail time saves you from the fire: In the two truths about Ibn ‘Umar, he said: The man in the life of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) if he saw a vision that he told to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

I wished to see a vision that I would tell to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and he said: I was a young single boy and I slept in the mosque during the reign of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

And I saw in sleep as if two kings had taken me and they took me to the fire, so if it is folded like the folding of the well and if it has two horns like the horns of the well And if there are people in it that I have known, I made me say: I will return to Allah from the fire, I will return to Allah from the fire, I will return to Allah from the fire, and he said.

Then a king met them, and he said to me: She did not shepherd, so I told her story on Hafsa, and her story was Hafsa on the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: Yes, the man Abdullah if he prayed from the night. Salem said, “After that, Abdullah slept only a little at night.”

11- The qiyamul lail raises you to the level of two laws: Abu Dawood narrated and corrected the Albanian about Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As saying: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

Said: Whoever has done ten verses has not written from the unaware, and whoever has done a hundred verses has written from the Qanatin and who has done a thousand verses written from the Qanatin.

12- The qiyam al layl makes you close to the Lord of the Worlds:

In the two truths about Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Our Lord, blessed and exalted.

Descends every night to the lower heavens when the other third of the night remains, saying: Whoever calls me, I will respond to him who asks me, and I will give him who forgives me, and I will forgive him.”.

13- The resurrection of the night is a time to answer the prayer:

A Muslim narrated about Jaber who said: “I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

Say: At night for an hour a Muslim man does not agree with him asking Allah for better than the command of the world and the afterlife unless he gives it to him and that is every night.

14- A Muslim narrated about Abu Sa’id and Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him.

Said: Allah slows down even if the first third of the night goes down to the lower heaven and he says: Is there any forgiveness, is there a repentant, is there any questioner, is there any need until dawn explodes.

15- A Muslim narrated about Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “I prefer fasting after Ramadan month of Allah and the best prayer after the obligatory night prayer.”.

16- The qiyamul lail makes you one of those whom Allah loves: In the two truths about Abdullah ibn Amr he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to me.

I love fasting to Allah fasting David was fasting one day and breaking the fast one day and I love praying to Allah the prayer of David he slept half the night and one-third of him rose and slept one-sixth of it.

17- Whoever rose up at night with his wife was injured by the call of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him): Abu Dawood narrated and the Albanian corrected him about Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him).

And said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: May Allah have mercy on a man who rose from the night and separated and woke up his wife if she did not exude water in her face.

May Allah have mercy on a woman who rose from the night and separated and woke up her husband, if my father exuded water in his face.

18- The qiyam al layl makes you in the highest heavens: Ahmad narrated and corrected the Albanian about Abu Malik al-Ashari saying: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

Said: “In Paradise, there is a room whose appearance is seen from the inside, and the interior from the outside, prepared by Allah for those who fed the food and the words and continued fasting and praying and the people slept.”.

19- The honor of the believer to rise at night: Al-Tabrani narrated in the middle and Hassanah al-Albani about Sahl ibn Sa’ad and said: Jibril came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and said: O Muhammad, live whatever you want, you are dead.

And do whatever you want, you are rewarded by it, and love whoever you want, you are his paradox, and know that the honor of the believer is the resurrection of the night, and his pride is to dispense with people.

In The end, qiyamul lail has many benefits that accrue to the Muslim, just as the Messenger, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him, urged Muslims to pray qiyamul lail.
