1. Egyptian and Hijaz School
The method of the “Egyptian and Hijaz School” is based on the reader reciting the Quran in full by heart, as a condition for the Ijazah and the Sanad together.
This method is a practical way to achieve Allah’s (SWT) saying:
It is certainly We Who have revealed the Reminder, and it is certainly We Who will preserve it.

it depends on encouraging memorization and a multiplicity of conservators masters, and those who are permissible to teach people how to recite the Quran correctly.
2. Levantine School
As for the method of the “Levantine school”, the reader recites the Quran completely by reading from a holy Quran book. In this Quran recitation, the exits, attributes, and movements are corrected.
Then, another complete Quran recitation without error or deviation is required. After completing the second recitation of the Holy Quran in full correctly, the reciter is Awarded Ijazah.
Types of Ijazah

- Ijazah with one narration, such as the leave by the narration of Hafs on the authority of Asim.

- Ijazah in the 3 recitations that complement the ten through the path of the last durra, the ten recitations from the path of Al-Shatibiyyah and Al-Durrah are called the “Minor Ten”.

1. Ijazah in Quran Recitation with Tajweed
Quran Recitation with Tajweed Ijazah is a testimony that entitles its bearer to teach the recitation of the Quran (recitation) and can be granted by an imam or an already accredited scholar (an endless chain). The learner obtains this certificate after reciting (recitation) the entire Quran with intonation in the presence of the certified teacher.
2. Ijazah in Quran Memorization/Hifz
Ijazah Quran memorization/Hifz is a certificate that allows its bearer to teach Quran memorization and can be granted by an imam or an already accredited scholar. The learner gets this certificate after memorizing the entire Quran well and reciting it by heart in the presence of the certified Quran teacher.
“Ijazah Certified” Meaning
“ijazah certificate” or “holding Ijazah” means that the bearer of the Shahada (certificate) has learned to recite the Quran with Tajweed by reading or by heart from the issuing authority through face-to-face or other means of communication. Now, he/she can teach or recite the Quran with Tajweed or Quran memorization through chains of reciters that finally end with the Noble Prophet (PBUH).
